Allows to store comments about files. (In a hidden descript.ion file.)

winrar is better at handling installation packages, because you can directly click on the setup executable, and it will extract all files in a temporary folder.
7-zip on the other hand, requires you to manually extract the files, find this new folder in explorer, then launch the setup executable.

(Tested with v. 4.57, still true with v. 4.65 afaik.)

superior to winrar - and free, no less! also, the .7z format seems to be capable of higher compression rates for most files than .rar and .zip.
