Chrome's task manager is great to see which tab is eating your cpu or your memory. :)

ChromePlus is a nice portable version based on Chromium (dev builds) with some added features (eg: mouse gestures, superdrag, ie tab).

NB: to get mouse gestures, imho it's better to use a system-wide tool, such as StrokeIt

Fast, but a little buggy: gmail doesn't load (even with labs disabled), google maps doesn't load fully either, and some (rare) sites make the tab crash.
Gmail and google maps worked well in the past, though.
