MonkeyJam is a powerful, albeit complex, stop-motion animation program. It was designed originally for cartoons, but the programmer also included some useful features for stop-motion animation. Allows for multiple layers with blending functions, and has built-in frame averaging. It has lots of great features, but is unfortunately not entirely free of bugs. The new version has corrected many of the old problems. Also, in the new version, they have added some new features. One being you can now "scrub" your audio over the film you are capturing, making audio synching much easier. Plus, you can also export the movie as an AVI (Can be saved as different formats) with sound.
