DbWrench Database Design by harnekr
A reasonably priced yet highly functional database design tool.
Sublime Text 2 by martisj
One of the most impressive text editors I have seen. Multi selections are a gift from heaven and super easy to use. Even though it is in Beta it's still wonderfully packed with fantastic features. Highly customizable and extremely smooth to interact with.
There is a little bit of a learning curve but once you get the hang of all the keyboard shortcuts you'll be writing, coding, editing, creating, composing amazing stuff super fast!
SRWare Iron by zed247
Update: Just installed SRWare Iron 16.0.950.0 and it appears the calling home to www.srware.net has been removed.
Google Desktop by norz
Has been discontinued: http://googledesktop.blogspot.com/2011/09/google-desktop-update.html.
Anyone knows a good alternative for people still using Windows XP?
SRWare Iron by zed247
Okay. In all fairneees to SRWARE I find after considerable use of version 15.0.900.2 that it seems not to dial or call home to google. It does dial home or call home to www.srware.net frequently especially when the program is started. To get around this I added
127.0.0.1 www.srware.net
to my hosts file and now I have no dialing home to srware.net
Otherwise a great replacement as I can't tolerate having a browser constantly dial / call home to google.
In that respect I also tried another replacement browser, ChromePlus, but this also dials home to google even though their documentation states it does not.

I tried version 15.0.900.2 and it dials home to SRWare every time I start it. So you tell me, who do you trust ... google with your data or srware with your data?
